Who Can Join?
In order to join the team you need to meet the following criteria:
You need to be aged 13, 14, or 15 years old
Or about to start Year 9 (third form) at high school
All personnel in the NZCF must abide by our set of Standing orders and the NZCF Code of Conduct
Be able to commit to attending our weekly parade nights every Tuesday night during school terms, as well as a handful of compulsory weekend activities regularly.
Attend one of our open nights held at the end and start of each year.
Have your own (independent from your parent/caregivers) email address

Parade Nights and Activities
19 Squadron parades every Tuesday night during the term with occasional parade nights during the term holidays.
Parade nights run from 1820hrs (6:10pm) to 2100hrs (9:00pm).
We also run activities over the weekend which can include overnight camps, training weekends and community service. These typically run from Friday night to Sunday afternoon and cadets are given plenty of notice to be able to ensure their attendance.
Fees
19 Squadron prides itself on running events and activities that do not incur an additional fee outside of the membership.
For Basic 1 Flight (1 year cadets), there is a one off registration fee, this amount covers the first month’s fees, SQN T Shirt and baseball cap.
Uniform is free of charge and is loaned to cadets.
